Group Show 2019 Invitation Info
Hi illustrator! I would like to invite you to join the 2019 Drip For Drip coffee cup group show, in which 25 illustrators make a coffee cup illustration around the theme of 'October'. If you're interested, please read the information below and respond to the email confirming your participation. Thanks, hope to have you on board!
DEADLINE: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2019
The cups
The show will feature 25 cups by 25 illustrators, posting daily on our social media, our website and at a physical group show. The illustrations are themed 'October' (first cup to be posted October 1st, 2019), the theme is open to your interpretation. All illustrations use a limited colour palet and are using a coffee cup template, to be digitally printed and mocked up into a paper take-away cup (for display purposes, as the cups don't have a bottom they're not for consumption). The mockups will be photographed and posted online. The participants are also encoured to share their flat artwork as not all of the cup will be visible on a frontal picture.

Tech Specs
• Deadline: Sunday, Sept 8th 2019
• RGB, 300dpi JPG
• Use one or more or all of these colours:
#f0eaec #f3ba18 #f67d41 #e13e63 #970100 #6aada8
• Use the entire bleed (green) area on the template, but keep in mind only the yellow dotted area is visible on photo
• Send a flat JPG file using the bleed area, don't include other template lines
• In joining the show you agree to Drip For Drip printing 3 templates with your artwork and posting your artwork on their website and social media (always with name and/or link credit)
• Drip For Drip will have one flat cup print available per participant, but participant pays for shipping should they want their cup
• Participants don't share their artwork untill their day of posting
• In failing to meet the deadline, Drip For Drip will grab an illustration from participants' portfolio and use the magic wand tool to change the colours to fit the show (you don't want that, we don't want that!)

Show Venue
I am really excited Spaak is hosting our group show this year, a wonderful coffee house in the north of the Netherlands, who are combining a passion for hot drinks and cycling. Every day in October, simultaneous with our online postings, a cup is added to the shelves in the shop, growing into the 25 coffee cup by the end of the month. I am planning a little get-together on thursday October 31st at Spaak from 4pm - 6pm, probably only doable for Netherlands-based participants, but let me know if you'd like to come and I'll buy you a coffee!
